Gross! A very cool out-of-home execution by Warner Brother’s Canada promoting the movie Contagion used bacteria to ‘spread’ the message! A team of microbiologists and immunologists were hired to literally ‘grow’ a one off poster execution that was placed in an abandoned store front in down-town Toronto. Using live bacteria, including penicillin, mold and pigmented bacteria, the initially blank panels rapidly grew to spell out the name of the Steven Soderbergh movie. Luckily no passers by were infected and were in fact treated to free passes to see the film.

Is it sad that I’m actaully excited about this movie?  Quite possibly!  But given there is literally no one left on planet earth that isn’t on Facebook its a movie many people will be able to relate to in some way or another.  So stop judging and check out the trailer, then you can start judging again!
