1 million Facebook fans is a pretty big deal, right? We would assume so, and quite rightly so it seems. Of the 1,492,134 Facebook Pages that Social Bakers track only 3672 have over 1 million Fans or 0.2%. However Facebook recently stated there are over 30 million active Facebook Pages (with more then 30 fans) meaning the The Cadbury page can count itself one of the lucky 0.012%! That’s quite an astonishing result and it really should be celebrated with a 3 tonne chocolate like, right? Good, thanks Cadbury!

Then take a little peak at what that translates into every 60 seconds! And guess what, it’s still just a sign of things to come! Read more…
A recent survey by the CMO Council of 120 senior marketers and 1000 consumers has been lovingly crafted into the below info-graphic which shares some pretty uninspiring conclusions. It seems that although ‘social media’ is generally recognised as a way to engage with a brands consumers, have a conversation or otherwise create a reciprocal relationship, marketers still largely have little idea what their customers want, or why they do what they do!
In addition to the above info-graphic the CMO Council have also released the following white paper that further explores the digital divide and will hopefully open a few eyes so in the process. Read more…
It will probably be the hottest tech float for the next decade and one that eclipses every internet IPO that has ever been, but what do we really know about the Facebooks public offering? Who are the winners and losers? How much will Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin and Sean Parker actually make? And what do the commercials look like considering the valuation that’s being placed on the platform?
The answers to all these questions and more can be found in this handy little info-graphic, so sit back and take a look at the waves Facebook is about to make. Read more…

As brands and marketers continue to prod Google+ with a stick the obvious question to ask is “So who exactly, if anyone is using Google+?”. A completely fair question and one that is still no easier to answer thanks to Googles unwillingness to share numbers.
However the team at Flowtown have managed to piece together the jigsaw puzzle of disperate G+ stats and pull them together in this handy info-graphic. It’s by no means exhaustive but it does give a sense of where growth is coming from, recent traffic levels, the impact of brand pages and of-course the gender split. If anyone has any further stats then please share them in the comments section. Read more…
