A brand launching a customer service capability on twitter or Facebook really isn’t news, but launching your real time offering with a slower, clunky, human version is! Enter KLM! To celebrate their twitter profile going live they started answering customers questions by filming human tweeters! Basically 140 KLM staff members would each grab a letter, run onto a big white canvas, order themselves to form the questions answer, hold the letters above their head, and voila! Human twitter! The purpose of the campaign was to illustrate how personal their service still is on twitter/Facebook. Did they achieve that? Judge for yourself.
London landmark turned into a lightsaber!
Every once in a while there is an idea that makes me scream at my computer for being so awesome! This is one. To celebrate the release of the Star Wars anthology on blue-ray some smart cats turned the famous British Telecom Tower in the heart of London into a gigantic lightsaber! The imagery is breath-taking and the impact a change to the London skyline like this would have would be immense. Plus the word of mouth generated would be almost immeasurable. Unreal. I’m still screaming at my computer! I love it!
Carlsberg punks cinema goers with a gang of bikers!
I love it when brands make people feel awkward! The video footage just feels a little more raw than a scripted TV show. Enter Carlsberg, who recently filled a cinema showing Planet of the Apes with hundreds of stereotypical bikers. Big, tattooed and carrying aggressive facial expressions! Every seat was taken, apart from 2 in the middle. You can kinda guess the rest, unsuspecting couples were ushered into the cinema and their reactions filmed for our enjoyment!

What do Britney Spears and Michael Jackson have in common?
Pepsi of course! Pepsi has a long standing relationship with music and to remind people of that very fact they’ve released this inspiring piece of content featuring Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Mariah Carey and the legend Ray Charles. The content seems to allude to a big announcement or in my mind a great opportunity to crowd source the next face of cola (That’s my IP now Pepsi!) but beyond that the film really only reminded me that Michael Jackson was awesome, Britney was once hot, Mariah Carey is still wacky and that I just don’t like Kanye West!
