Twitter say they are faster than earthquakes!

There has been a fair amount of media coverage concerning social media and the speed at which news spread when the recent earthquake hit Virginia in the US.  Apparently it took 30 seconds for the 5.9 magnitude quake to travel up the east coast and shake the Big Apple, ample time to send a tweet (If you weren’t running around looking for cover!).  In a new promotional video, twitter wants people to believe that not even mother nature can compete in the real time stakes!  Funny or misguided?
